The Maruti Suzuki Celerio is Unveiling During 2014 Auto Expo

Maruti Suzuki Celerio A-WindThe Maruti Suzuki Celerio is due for unveiling during the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo event. As per sources, the Celerio may be available in automated transmission technology. It is said that the gears would be present but minus the clutch pedal, this would give the driver a feel as though they are driving an automatic transmission vehicle. The Celerio shall be powered by a 1.0 litre, 3 cylinder K-series petrol engine that churns out amazing power output of 67 bhp at 90 Nm max torque.

Surprisingly, the Celerio is reported to be 5 percent more efficient than a regular manual version car. Moreover, the absence of clutch pedal makes the car even more interesting and comfortable within the city where you may be stuck for hours in a stop-and-go traffic. Furthermore, the driver gets to shift gears in a fully automatic mode or sequentially. This new hydraulic system is the reason why you get to shift gears without pressing on a clutch!

The Indian hatchback market has always been warm and welcoming for the i10 series. Celerio on the other hand may be new in the market, but is backed-up by strong brand name in the Indian market. Post the Auto Expo event, results would pretty much be evident in the market.
