Movie Review of Bewakoofiyaan Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sonam Kapoor

This movie is nice, light and simple. It has common people working, meeting, loving, eating, smiling, partying, laughing, crying and showing their pluses and minuses. Directed by Nupur Asthana and Produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) head honcho Aditya Chopra is executed nicely. We might have watched such a story of jobless hero and growing heroine in cinemas but this one is just a little different. It shows many ups and downs of 3 main characters. It surely does not look like a YRF product but filmed well.

I don’t know why critics have shown less interest in giving their positive reviews but it is not that bad. We can understand that the Indian movie-goers only like to see actors either making love (romantic movies) or fight (action movies) or make them laugh (in comedy movies) but they don’t like to watch people going to office in movies and hence they have ignored this movie, didn’t spread any good words to give it a mouth publicity benefit. This movie shows real life incidents happening with today’s youth.

Songs are strictly average but fits well with story. Acting is superb by lead actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonam Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. They don’t look like working with each other for the first time. Their presence on screen make us feel so refreshing and enjoying every bit of happening with them in the movie. There are no dialogue punches and no smart twists and turns yet it makes us feel good at the end. Good try.
