PK Movie Review:
PK comes out from Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani’s production power-house. They have come up with another master piece. Yes, this movie would make another milestone in their life and would take them to a next level of film making. Rajkumar Hirani should be considered as new-age “showman of bollywood”. Nobody can do what he can. The way he tells the story is amazingly excellent. Let’s come to the movie review.

This is not just about god and goddesses. This is actually a sort of love story, told with an Alien’s suffer on earth to get back his locket, his struggle to get it back from God which unfolds truth about how people has made money-making business on the name of God. The best dialogue about that is “You have made God or God has made you (human)?”

Aamir Khan has really acted well. He acts well in all of his movies but this one is special. Far better than 3 Idiots. He has put in all his efforts to make things go “right” in a right direction. Storyline is not that strong and doesn’t have anything new to show/tell but the way he has acted, it makes a big difference in viewing this movie. He makes you understand each moment. He makes every frame perfect. Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput are good choices. They both have made an impact in their roles respectively. Sanjay Dutt has played his part efficiently. He leaves good impact and make us feel that he is still favorite of Chopra and Hirani. Role of Boman Irani is short and he hasnt done much in a role. Saurabh Shukla as a godman doesnt leave stronger impact. I still feel that he is in his “Barfi” mode (still). His vocal, still make us think that he might have been drunk, doesnt give us a feel like a godman. In OMG, all godmen were looking real but unfortunately not in this. If Aamir Khan, to question all religions; why pointing finger at just 1 Godman (Saurabh Shukla) and why no other religions’ godman comes forward to defend? (may be because we already seen it in OMG, they might have dropped that plan) and as i said, PK is more about love story rather than a fight against God and Godmen.

Songs are OK, good to hear and watch but doesnt leave any impact. “Chaar Kadam”, sang by Shaan is the only song we go along with. Logic of falling in love and feeling betrayed of Anushka and Sushant are so thin that we don’t even believe their love story even existed but it has been executed nicely with sad background music that it looks real. This movie brings tears to your life when something sad happens with main leads. That proves that actors have done outstanding job.

Sorry to reveal but i can’t stop myself. I am that happy. There is a glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor in the end. That brings fresh air even in that half minute cameo role. Next time, i would expect Rajkumar Hirani to give him a full fledged role in his next movie. Sorry again to reveal his photo here (but hey, i am posting only after a movie has been released). That shouldn’t spoil your “keep secret” policy!

Brilliant cinema, outstanding movie. PK The Film – a sure super hit.
