Chhoti Rickshaw Baddi Savari Exhibition by Mantra Art Gallery at Hutheesing Visual Art Centre in Ahmedabad

A National Award winner, Amdavadi Artist Nayana Soparkar of Mantra Art Gallery has organised Chhotti Rickshaw Baddi Savari exhibition at L & P Hutheesing Visual Art Centre, CEPT Campus, Navrangpura in Ahmedabad. The art exhibition showcases as many as 91 (POP) Plaster of Paris rickshaw models based on the artist’s vision of the vehicle.

We witnessed a very calm and peaceful atmosphere at the Art Gallery when we visited them. We felt like we are completely into an artists’ world. She has made these tiny auto rickshaw models from POP and 91 artists have decorated them with their imagination. They were all looking so beautiful and real that we felt like a vehicle is about to start and take us somewhere for a ride 🙂

When we talked to Nayana Soparkar, she gave us complete details about how it has been made and how others have put into their efforts to make this a successful exhibition. She is very humble and down to earth personality. She continues this exhibition at her Mantra Art Gallery from 23 Sep to 21 Oct 2015.

We must say that everybody should visit and see a vehicle of Ahmedabad which travels almost every corner of the city, with an eye of an artist. Don’t miss it.
